We stayed at this hotel as a stop off on our way from Cherbourg to Amboise in the Loire. it was fine for this purpose, we went out to The Cafe de Paris restaurant, which is a five minute walk from the hotel and had a very pleasant meal. However the last hour or so of reaching this hotel was through admittedly lovely countryside but quite slow roads. Had I realised this I would have pushed on to Amboise down faster roads and skipped this stop.
