Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Room in need of update. Very cramped. Size OK for single occupancy, but not for 2 people.

We stayed in 6 hotels on our trip- all at a similar price - and this was by far the lowest standard. However, the two male waiters who served us dinner were excellent. They were courteous, friendly, cheerful and efficient.

Appreciate the character and original features of the room and building. Especially like being in room #1. Staff at reception and restaurant are warm, friendly and helpful

We were welcomed by a member of the team at the carpark. She set up our electric car charger, took us and our cat to our room in the turret. Was very friendly. Comfortable room and bed. Decor a bit old fashioned, but all very comfortable.
